I move around a lot for my studies and so usually end up having my dinner all alone in cafes. I like to take a novel or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in ELLENWOOD GA where I ate at Flava Real Pit Bar B Q and I read a new piece on bamboo. I did not know you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a great option for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and purchased a couple pieces of clothing.

I must say I was pretty impressed. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

After some more research I found some incredible pieces of information on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo uses little water during the time it grows meaning they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
