I move around a lot for my studies and so regularly end up eating all alone in local restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in EAGLE ROCK MO where I ate at Uncle Roy's and I saw a new cover story to do with bamboo clothing. I did not realise you could make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent which means it is a excellent possibility for gym wear or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and got a few items of clothing.

I must admit I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I thought was amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a bit more research I found out some other amazing facts on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Also bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find more details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
