I travel quite a lot for my job and so usually end up having my dinner alone in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in DENVER CO where I ate at Bamboo Terrace and I saw a really interesting piece on bamboo clothes. I had no idea you are able to make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a excellent option for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and got a couple basic items of clothing.
I should tell you I was extremely impressed. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I think is incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic apparel stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After some more research I found some incredible details to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find more articles on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
