I travel quite a lot for my work and so regularly end up having dinner all alone in restaurants. I like to take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Last week, I was in DANVILLE KY where I ate at Dix's Restaurant and I came across an interesting piece to do with bamboo clothes. I did not know you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent possibility for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I went online and purchased a couple pieces of clothing.

I have to say I was very impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I think is amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After some more research I discovered some interesting pieces of information about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the time it grows meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find more information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
