I travel a lot for my job and so usually end up having my dinner alone in cafes. I usually take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in CREEDMOOR NC where I ate at American Hero Family Rest and I came across an interesting piece on bamboo. I did not realise you could make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a good choice for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out for myself. I looked online and purchased a few items of clothing.

I have to say I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a bit more research I found out some other amazing pieces of information on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs very little water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.

I try to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, socks, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find more details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
