I travel quite a lot for my job and so regularly end up eating all alone in local restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in CORBIN KY where I ate at Crabtree Restaurant Inc and I saw an interesting piece on bamboo clothing. I did not realise you can make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a good possibility for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and bought some basic items of clothing.

I have to say I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After some more research I found some other amazing details on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs little water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find some articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
