I move around a lot for my work and so regularly end up having dinner alone in local restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in COPLAY PA where I ate at Kornfeind J Market and I read a new article about bamboo clothes. I did not know you could make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a good option for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out for myself. I went online and bought a few basic items of clothing.

I have to admit I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was pretty much dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I do not know if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After some more research I found out some other interesting details to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires very little water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
