I travel a lot for my work and so usually end up eating by myself in restaurants. I often take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Last week, I was in COLUMBUS OH where I ate at Katie's Pizza and I read a new article to do with bamboo clothing. I did not know you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a good possibility for gym wear or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and got a couple basic items of clothing.
I have to say I was pretty impressed. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be amazing. I also noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After some more research I discovered some more amazing details on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows extremely fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find some details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
