I travel a lot for my job and so often end up having my dinner all alone in cafes. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in COLUMBUS GA where I ate at D J Sports Grill and I saw a new article to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you can make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a excellent option for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and bought a couple items of clothing.

I have to say I was extremely impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry when I took it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.

After some more research I discovered some amazing pieces of information about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Also bamboo needs little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find some articles on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
