I move around a lot for my studies and so regularly end up having my dinner by myself in local restaurants. I often take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in COLLEGE PLACE WA where I ate at Bangkok 103 Cafe and I read an interesting piece about bamboo clothes. I had no idea you can make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a good choice for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and bought a few basic items of clothing.

I should say I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I thought was amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a little more research I found some other amazing facts to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, underwear, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find some information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
