I move around a lot for my work and so regularly end up having my dinner all alone in cafes. I usually take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in COATESVILLE PA where I ate at Petra Pizza and I read a really interesting piece about bamboo clothes. I did not realise you can make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a great choice for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and purchased a few pieces of clothing.

I should say I was very impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, not unlike silk. It was pretty much dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothes stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After some more research I found some other interesting facts about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.
