I move around a lot for my job and so regularly end up eating all alone in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in CLEMSON SC where I ate at Calhoun Corners Restaurant and I saw a new article to do with bamboo clothing. I did not realise you are able to make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a excellent choice for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out if it was true. I looked online and purchased some basic items of clothing.

I must say I was very impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After some more research I discovered some more interesting facts about bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses little water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find some information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
