I travel a lot for my job and so regularly end up having my dinner alone in local restaurants. I often take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. The other day, I was in CITRUS HEIGHTS CA where I ate at Wonderful Chinese Restaurant and I saw a new cover story about bamboo clothing. I did not know you can make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a great choice for gym wear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and got a couple basic items of clothing.

I have to admit I was very impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. I also noticed is that it did not particularly require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic apparel stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After some more research I discovered some interesting facts to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires very little water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.
