I move around a lot for my job and so often end up having my dinner all alone in restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in CHICAGO IL where I ate at Krakus Homemade Sausage and I came across a new piece to do with bamboo clothes. I did not know you could make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a excellent possibility for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and purchased a few items of clothing.
I should admit I was pretty impressed. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After a little more research I found out some more interesting details on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs very little water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, socks, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
