I travel quite a lot for my work and so regularly end up having dinner all alone in local restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Last week, I was in CHESAPEAKE VA where I ate at Will's Grill and I read a new piece to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you are able to make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and purchased a couple pieces of clothing.

I should admit I was pretty impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. I also noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After some more research I found out some other incredible pieces of information about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.
