I travel quite a lot for my work and so regularly end up eating alone in restaurants. I like to take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Last week, I was in CEDAR RAPIDS IA where I ate at Mikhael's Restaurant and I came across a new cover story on bamboo clothing. I had no idea you can make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a great choice for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and purchased some basic items of clothing.
I must admit I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After some more research I found some amazing details on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Also bamboo requires little water during the growth period so they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find some details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
