I move around a lot for my job and so usually end up having my dinner alone in local restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in CEDAR CITY UT where I ate at HOGI Yogi and I saw a new piece on bamboo clothes. I did not realise you could make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a good option for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and bought a few items of clothing.

I have to tell you I was extremely impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.

You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.

After a little more research I found out some more interesting pieces of information on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires very little water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
