I move around a lot for my job and so often end up having dinner by myself in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. The other day, I was in CASS LAKE MN where I ate at Pine Ridge Resort and I came across a new piece about bamboo clothes. I did not know you can make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent option for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and got a couple pieces of clothing.

I must admit I was extremely impressed. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.

You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a bit more research I discovered some incredible details about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.

I try to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
