I travel a lot for my studies and so usually end up having dinner alone in local restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in CARTERET NJ where I ate at Do ME A Flavor and I came across a new article on bamboo clothes. I had no idea you can make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a excellent option for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I went online and bought a couple items of clothing.

I must admit I was very impressed. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry when I took it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a bit more research I found out some more amazing details about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the time it grows meaning they can survive droughts.

I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, socks, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find some articles on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
