I travel a lot for my job and so usually end up having dinner all alone in restaurants. I often take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in CARROLLTON MI where I ate at Little Caesars Pizza - Saginaw and I read a really interesting cover story about bamboo clothes. I did not know you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent which means it is a excellent choice for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and bought a few items of clothing.
I must admit I was extremely impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry after I took it from the washing machine which I think is incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After some more research I found out some more incredible details to do with bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows extremely rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo requires very little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
