I move around a lot for my work and so usually end up having dinner all alone in restaurants. I often take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Last week, I was in CAMBRIDGE OH where I ate at Cambridge Travelodge and I read a new cover story to do with bamboo clothing. I did not know you could make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a excellent option for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and got a few basic items of clothing.
I have to say I was extremely impressed. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.
You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After some more research I discovered some amazing details about bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find some details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
