I travel quite a lot for my studies and so often end up having dinner by myself in local restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in BRUNSWICK OH where I ate at Hunan House and I came across a really interesting cover story to do with bamboo. I did not realise you can make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a excellent option for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I went online and got a couple pieces of clothing.
I must admit I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be great. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic apparel stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a bit more research I found some other incredible details on bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
