I move around a lot for my job and so regularly end up having dinner alone in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in BROKEN BOW OK where I ate at El Senorial Mexican Restaurant and I saw a new article on bamboo clothing. I did not know you could make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym wear or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out for myself. I looked online and purchased a few items of clothing.
I should tell you I was pretty impressed. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry after I took it from the washing machine which I thought was incredible. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After some more research I discovered some more incredible details about bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses little water during the growing period meaning they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
