I travel a lot for my job and so often end up having my dinner by myself in cafes. I often take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in BRIDGEWATER NJ where I ate at Driveway Guardian and I came across a new article about bamboo clothing. I did not know you can make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a excellent option for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and bought a couple basic items of clothing.
I should say I was very impressed. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I think is great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After a bit more research I discovered some more interesting details to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires very little water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find more information on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
