I travel a lot for my job and so usually end up eating all alone in restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in BREEZY POINT NY where I ate at Kennedys Restaurant and I came across a new piece to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you can make clothing out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a great option for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and got some pieces of clothing.

I have to tell you I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.

After a little more research I discovered some incredible pieces of information on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires little water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of articles on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
