I move around a lot for my job and so usually end up having dinner alone in cafes. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Last week, I was in BOYNTON BEACH FL where I ate at Gentleman Jim's and I came across a new article to do with bamboo clothing. I had no idea you could make clothes out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a great option for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I went online and purchased some items of clothing.

I have to admit I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, not unlike silk. It was almost dry when I took it out of the washing machine which I think is amazing. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothes stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.

After a little more research I found out some other incredible facts on bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires very little water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.

I try to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find plenty of information on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
