I move around a lot for my job and so usually end up having dinner alone in restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. The other day, I was in BOUND BROOK NJ where I ate at Takitos Mexican Restaurant and I came across a new piece on bamboo. I did not realise you could make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a good choice for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I searched online and got some pieces of clothing.
I must admit I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was pretty much dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be great. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a bit more research I discovered some amazing facts about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find more details on bamboo here and good points about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
