I move around a lot for my job and so usually end up eating by myself in local restaurants. I often take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a excellent possibility for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I went online and bought some basic items of clothing.

I should say I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.

After some more research I discovered some incredible facts to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Also bamboo uses only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
