I move around a lot for my job and so often end up having dinner alone in cafes. I often take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in BERTHOUD CO where I ate at Dominics Pizza and I came across a really interesting piece on bamboo clothes. I had no idea you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a excellent option for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and got a couple pieces of clothing.
I should tell you I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After a little more research I found out some amazing facts to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo requires very little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
