I travel a lot for my job and so often end up having dinner by myself in local restaurants. I often take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in BALTIMORE MD where I ate at Andys Food Mart Inc and I read a new piece about bamboo clothes. I did not know you could make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a good option for gym clothes or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and purchased a few pieces of clothing.
I have to tell you I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is what I look for as I hate ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.
After some more research I found some other incredible details to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Plus bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the time it grows which means they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as robes, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find some articles on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
