I travel a lot for my job and so regularly end up eating by myself in restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in ATLANTA GA where I ate at Original Brand Foods of Atlanta and I saw an interesting piece about bamboo clothing. I had no idea you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. For example, bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent so it is a good option for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and purchased a couple items of clothing.

I have to tell you I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I think is amazing. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.

Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

Bamboo Clothing ATLANTA

After a bit more research I found out some amazing details on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses little water during the growth period meaning they can survive droughts.

I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothing and other products such as robes, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.

You can find more details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
