I move around a lot for my work and so regularly end up eating by myself in local restaurants. I usually take a book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Last week, I was in ALEXANDRIA VA where I ate at Pizza Outlet Franconia 103 and I saw a new piece to do with bamboo. I did not realise you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a excellent choice for gym clothes or also as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by these claims so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and purchased some pieces of clothing.
I have to tell you I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, not unlike silk. It was close to being dry as soon as I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After a little more research I found some more amazing pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is generally organic. It grows extremely rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses very little water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find some details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
