I travel a lot for my job and so usually end up having dinner alone in cafes. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in ALBUQUERQUE NM where I ate at Baker Street Grill and I read a new piece about bamboo clothes. I had no idea you could make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo clothing is softer than organic cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent which means it is a excellent possibility for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and purchased a couple basic items of clothing.
I must admit I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I thought was great. The other thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After some more research I found out some other incredible details about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs very little water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.
I try to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as sheets, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.
You can find more articles on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
