I travel a lot for my studies and so often end up having dinner by myself in restaurants. I often take a novel or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Last week, I was in AITKIN MN where I ate at Landing and I read a new piece to do with bamboo clothing. I had no idea you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.

Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym clothes or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out for myself. I went online and purchased some items of clothing.

I have to say I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic apparel stores where you can purchase organic cotton clothes as well bamboo towels.

After a little more research I found some incredible pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely rapidly which means it does not need fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Also bamboo uses little water during the time it grows so they can survive droughts.

I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, socks, rugs, and baby clothes.

You can find more information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and how to choose organic produce.
