I travel a lot for my studies and so usually end up having my dinner all alone in local restaurants. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in INDIANAPOLIS IN where I ate at Grindstone Charley's and I read a new cover story on bamboo clothing. I had no idea you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent so it is a excellent option for gym wear or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out if it was true. I searched online and got a few basic items of clothing.
I have to say I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry when I took it from the washing machine which I found to be amazing. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After some more research I discovered some more amazing facts to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make environmentally friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothing and other products such as towels, underwear, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of information on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
