I move around a lot for my work and so often end up eating by myself in restaurants. I often take a good book or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in SAINT LOUIS MO where I ate at Gioia's Deli and I came across a really interesting piece on bamboo clothes. I did not know you could make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a great option for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and bought a couple items of clothing.
I have to say I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, not unlike silk. It was pretty much dry when I took it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily need much ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.
