I move around a lot for my studies and so usually end up having dinner alone in local restaurants. I usually take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Last week, I was in GORMAN TX where I ate at Dairy Queen of Gorman and I came across a really interesting piece to do with bamboo clothes. I had no idea you can make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a excellent possibility for gym wear or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I went online and bought a couple items of clothing.
I have to admit I was extremely happy with what I bought. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry when I removed it from the washing machine which I thought was great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.
