I travel a lot for my job and so regularly end up having my dinner all alone in local restaurants. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in PANAMA CITY FL where I ate at Pick A Pair Pizza and I read a new article on bamboo clothes. I did not know you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is highly absorbent making it a excellent possibility for gym gear or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I looked online and got a couple items of clothing.
I should admit I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry after I took it from the washing machine which I thought was amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not really require ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is something I look for as I hate ironing.
You can find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic apparel stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a bit more research I found out some other incredible pieces of information to do with bamboo. It is almost always organic. It grows extremely quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo needs only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco friendly choices whenever I do my shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, blankets, throws, and baby clothes.
