I move around a lot for my job and so regularly end up having my dinner all alone in local restaurants. I often take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in COVINGTON TN where I ate at Sonic Drive-In Restaurant and I came across a new cover story on bamboo clothes. I did not know you are able to make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. It turns out bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent which means it is a excellent choice for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and purchased a few basic items of clothing.
I have to admit I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, similar to silk. It was close to being dry when I took it from the washing machine which I found to be great. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily need ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I can not stand ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are numerous organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a little more research I found out some amazing details to do with bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs very little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
