I travel quite a lot for my work and so regularly end up eating by myself in restaurants. I often take a book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Last week, I was in ALPHARETTA GA where I ate at Marriott Atlanta Alpharetta and I read a really interesting piece on bamboo clothes. I did not know you can make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo clothing is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothing. I must tell you I was pretty impressed with the quality. The fabric definitely is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry after I removed it from the washing machine which I found to be incredible. The other thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.

Last week, I was in CHARLESTON IL where I ate at Chubbys Pizza and I came across a new cover story to do with bamboo. I did not realise you are able to make fabric out of bamboo.
