I move around a lot for my job and so usually end up having my dinner all alone in local restaurants. I often take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Last week, I was in WARMINSTER PA where I ate at Reeses Take Out Pizza & Beer and I saw an interesting cover story about bamboo clothing. I had no idea you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than organic cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is a great quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a great choice for gym clothes or even as bamboo towels. I was fascinated by this article so I had to find out for myself. I looked online and purchased some pieces of clothing.
I should tell you I was very happy with what I bought. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothing stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After a little more research I found some more amazing pieces of information on bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows extremely rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not require pesticides either. Also bamboo requires only a small amount of water during the growing period so they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for clothes and other products such as towels, blankets, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find more details on bamboo here and good info about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
