I travel quite a lot for my work and so often end up eating by myself in cafes. I like to take a good book or magazine with me to help pass the time. Recently, I was in WHIPPANY NJ where I ate at Franks Diner and I read a new article about bamboo clothes. I had no idea you can make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. For example, bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than regular cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is a fantastic quality to have in clothes. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent so it is a excellent choice for gym wear or even as bamboo towels. I was intrigued by what I had discovered so I had to find out for myself. I searched online and bought some basic items of clothing.
I have to admit I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, similar to silk. It was almost dry as soon as I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was amazing. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly need ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic apparel stores where you can buy organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After a bit more research I found some more incredible facts about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. Plus bamboo needs little water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable making it my number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, underwear, throws, and baby clothes.
