I move around a lot for my studies and so often end up having dinner by myself in cafes. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. Last week, I was in NEW ORLEANS LA where I ate at Sazerac-Fairmont Hotel and I saw a really interesting article on bamboo. I had no idea you could make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. They say it is antibacterial and hypoallergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in clothing. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent making it a excellent option for gym wear or even as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out for myself. I looked online and purchased some pieces of clothing.
I should admit I was pretty impressed. The fabric absolutely is soft, kind of like silk. It was close to being dry when I took it from the washing machine which I thought was amazing. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is what I look for as I can not stand ironing.

I did not realise you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
