I travel quite a lot for my studies and so often end up having my dinner alone in local restaurants. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to prevent boredom. Recently, I was in AURORA OH where I ate at Reggie's and I saw an interesting article to do with bamboo. I did not realise you could make fabric out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some fantastic qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric is softer than regular cotton. Apparently it is antibacterial and hypo-allergenic. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a good choice for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by this article so I had to find out for myself. I went online and purchased a couple basic items of clothing.
I should admit I was very impressed with the quality. The fabric absolutely is soft, not unlike silk. It was almost dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I found to be amazing. I also noticed is that it did not necessarily require ironing. I am not sure if all bamboo fabric is like that but it is a quality I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Find the latest bamboo clothes here or there are plenty of organic clothes stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo sheets.
After a bit more research I found some more incredible pieces of information about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly fast which means it does not require fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. Also bamboo requires little water during the growing period which means they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as robes, socks, curtains, and baby clothes.
