I travel a lot for my job and so often end up eating by myself in cafes. I like to take a novel or magazine with me to help pass the time. The other day, I was in CHICAGO IL where I ate at Heaven on Seven and I came across a new piece on bamboo clothing. I did not know you can make clothes out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some great qualities. It turns out bamboo fabric and clothing is softer than most cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is an excellent quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is extremely absorbent which means it is a good possibility for gym gear or also as bamboo towels. I was interested by these claims so I had to find out if it was true. I looked online and got a couple basic items of clothing.
I should admit I was pretty happy with what I bought. The fabric definitely is soft, similar to silk. It was pretty much dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was great. Another thing I noticed is that it did not particularly require ironing. I I am unaware if all bamboo clothing is like that but it is something I look for as I hate doing ironing.
Check out the latest bamboo clothes here or there are many organic clothing stores where you can get organic cotton clothes as well bamboo linen.
After some more research I discovered some incredible pieces of information about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows incredibly quickly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not use pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo needs very little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.
I attempt to make eco friendly choices whenever I go shopping. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so it is my number one choice for t-shirts and other products such as towels, underwear, curtains, and baby clothes.
You can find plenty of details on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and the benefits of organic products.
