I travel quite a lot for my studies and so often end up eating all alone in cafes. I usually take a novel or magazine with me to make me feel less alone. Recently, I was in MARLTON NJ where I ate at Wawa Food Markets - Regional Office and I came across a new article on bamboo clothes. I did not know you are able to make clothing out of bamboo.
Bamboo has some amazing qualities. I found out bamboo fabric is softer than most cotton. They also say it is antibacterial and good for you if you suffer from allergies. That is a fantastic quality to have in a fabric. Bamboo clothing is very absorbent making it a great option for gym gear or possibly as bamboo towels. I was interested by what I had discovered so I had to find out if this was really the case. I looked online and got a few items of clothing.
I must admit I was extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric really is soft, kind of like silk. It was almost dry after I took it out of the washing machine which I thought was great. I also noticed is that it did not really need much ironing. I do not know if all bamboo clothes are like that but it is a quality I look for as I can not stand ironing.
After some more research I discovered some incredible pieces of information about bamboo. It is a product which is organic. It grows very rapidly which means it does not need any fertilisers and they do not need pesticides either. As well as that, bamboo uses very little water during the growth period which means they can survive droughts.
I do my best to make eco-friendly choices whenever I can. Bamboo is organic, renewable, and sustainable so for me it is the number one choice for clothes and other products such as sheets, blankets, rugs, and baby clothes.
You can find more articles on bamboo here and good information about organic farming and why to buy organic products.
